Cuplock Scaffolding: Cup and Lock System
Cuplock scaffolding uses a cup and lock joint at every 500 mm on the standard. Ledgers seat into the bottom cup and the top cup locks them in place.

| 0.5 m | 1 | 500 mm | Ø48.3 mm | Hot-dip galvanized or painted |
| 1.0 m | 2 | 500 mm | Ø48.3 mm | Hot-dip galvanized or painted |
| 1.5 m | 3 | 500 mm | Ø48.3 mm | Hot-dip galvanized or painted |
| 2.0 m | 4 | 500 mm | Ø48.3 mm | Hot-dip galvanized or painted |
| 2.5 m | 5 | 500 mm | Ø48.3 mm | Hot-dip galvanized or painted |

How the Cup Joint Works
Fixed bottom cups are welded on each cuplock standard at 500 mm intervals. You drop the ledger blade ends into the bottom cup, then bring the top cup down over them and rotate it to lock. No bolts, no wedges.
Inspection from ground level is easy. If you see a gap in the top cup, the connection isn't locked. That's a big deal when crews are working fast on repetitive access and support structures.
Cuplock really shines for slab shoring, facade access, and straight-run scaffolding. The 500 mm cup spacing sets a fixed vertical module, so ledgers and braces fit without measuring. Some people call it cup lock scaffolding or cup and lock scaffolding.
VANHN manufactures cuplock standards and ledgers in 48.3 mm tube. Hot-dip galvanized finish is standard. Painted options are available too.
